This section describes a large model of integrative human physiology. The model is multiscaled, with environmental, whole-body, organ, cell and molecular levels. The model is now available as a free download. This section provides an introduction to some of the basic methods used in building biological models. This section describes the tools that we use to build and solve the models in this workshop. Models are a free download.
This section presents a library of sample models that we built and solved using the modeling tools described above. This section describes the XML schema (or rules) that we use to build the models in this workshop. This is a modeling forum that is open to everyone. The forum has questions and answers. Clicking on this will open a new window.

The goal of this Web site is to help all biomedical scientists improve their scientific productivity. The focus is on using mathematical modeling to improve our understanding of complex biological processes.

The site offers model building and model solving tools, a library of specialized models, a large integrative model of human physiology, instructional materials and an interactive modeling forum. Free software downloads are available.
